Alma de Luzon, the soul of Luzon, reflects the passion and arduous labours that went into the making of our finest wine. Set against a back drop of ragged mountains and an arid landscape the fifty year old vines must reach deep into the hardscrabble soil to sustain themselves. For the creation of Alma de Luzon we reached into the depths of our collective knowledge and experience, searched the best and oldest vineyards, and hand selected only the ripest grapes. Our hope is that this wine will touch your soul and satisfy all your senses.

• Picked: By hand in to 10/15kg boxes and then grapes where placed on a selection table.
• Vineyard: from selected vineyards. Vines averaging 50 years old at 600 meters above sea level.
Wine Making:
Maceration: 15/20 days depending on the variety not passing 28ºc.
Ageing:
22 months in new oak 60% French oak & 40% American oak.
Tasting Notes:
• Colour: Deep cherry red with a ruby rim. •Aroma: Intense and complex aromas of black fruits in alcohol, cocoa, spices, fine oak and a rich creaminess from the oak, mineral notes and fresh wild strawberry.
• Palate: Meaty with mature and sweet tannins, fresh and fruity, tasty and powerful, complex, black fruits, mineral notes, spice, pleasant, persistent and with great length.
